Green tea contains less caffeine than coffee. Green tea is helpful for weight loss and increase physical performance. It helps lower cholesterol and lower blood pressure. It helps to boost immune system and helps reduce the risk of some diseases like type 2 diabetes, cance. Cancer is caused by uncontrolled growth of cells which result in world's leading cause of death. Studies even show that women who drink green tea had a 20-30% lower risk of developing breast cancer which is the most common cancer in women and on the other hand, men who drinks green tea had a 48% lower risk of developing prostate cancer which is the most common in men. It even promotes healthier skin and stimulates hair growth.
