At times I feel like the bedroom in my mind, is
Filled with derelict furniture
All broken down and ragged.

Hand-me-downs;
Things scrounged from the
Discards of others.

The rooms in my heart, on the other hand,
Are filled with gleaming new items.
They get replenished every
Night. It is time to go
Get replenished.
Goodnight.
