The goodwithtravels project is all about giving back*, so I'm going to try something I've never done before.
*In case you didn't know, I'm planning on giving away 50% of my Steem at the end of 2019 to a charity of Steemit users' choice. By supporting this blog, you're therefore supporting a good cause, so please do follow along and spread the word.
As of right now, I'm running a competition, giving YOU the chance to win some of my hard-earnt Steem dollars (SBD).
But first, some context.
This blog is nothing without its readers.
I try really hard to make exciting content, articles and videos to share here on Steemit and D.Tube.
Some of it lands, creating a bunch discussion and comments, though I'll be honest in that much of it falls flat (I'm constantly trying to improve what I do and how I do it, so stick with me!).
I'll admit that I do go through periods of doubt around the promise that I've committed to, but am determined to make the goodwithtravels concept a success. My goal is to have a positive outcome on the world through my blog, by which I mean I'd to be able to make a significant charity donation at the end of the year.
Whether or not I run another competition or do so regularly depends on levels of engagement and commercial viability, so every upvote, resteem and comment will help further the good cause.
If you don't already follow @goodwithtravels, what are you waiting for!?
The theme for this competition is 'somewhere to stay'
In light of the end of my trip to New Zealand, and my most recent post 'Staying In An Epic Airbnb', I've decided to theme this competition around the weird and wonderful places that you may have found yourself sleeping for a night.
Where is the most unusual place you've ever stayed?
Was it a planned, exotic location, or a make-shift accommodation out in the wild?
Did you find yourself in an unusual Airbnb, on a stranger's sofa, or in somewhere so unusual it's beyond description?

The more successful this post is, the more likely I am to run another competition, and the more likely I am to up the amount given away.

Peace
Franck / @goodwithtravels
Hopefully some other people will join your competition in those last days!
Weirdest place I've ever stayed is in my tent on Iceland with temperatures as low as -15 sleeping at the coastlines to find a shelter as fast as possible when returning from the waters together with my friends @dboontje and @smalltall we have had some adventure there.
