If you a digital nomad who’s always travelling you should certainly put on google photos and play around with google guides

Yep, I’ve reached 80,000 views on the photos that I’ve submitted to the google search ecosystem, they use some of these photos of mine to give relevant search results the images to go along with them, kinda scary in some regards but also it speaks to my in transition and geo location data side, after all, I was there. I took a photo, why don’t I make that content work for my benefit too earning me google stuffs in the process.

https://maps.google.com/localguides is part of the google ecosystem where they are trying to dabble in finding the brand advocates of places and spaces and taking that google experience passed the camera on the roof of the car, actual real life people, writing reviews, taking video and photos and rewarding them points for their efforts - whatever you think about google this is the future of our time and data collection as a human being, location based data aggregation (or at least part of it)

They even have a cool little section for organising meet ups - https://maps.google.com/localguides/meetup where you can arrange photo walks and things like that, no reason you couldn’t start some kind of steemit meet up crossover in the process right?

To use the platform is ultra simple, most of the photos you take on a mobile phone store the location data — all you have to do is upload your precious phone photo library to google and pick the ones it finds and accept that you are comfortable with sharing it and watch the views and points come in - you can go further of course, taking photos, doing reviews, making a video, all of them elevate you up in the rankings — if your a social media, brand advocate or just someone wanting to get to grips with you smartphone you will get at christmas this could be for you.

It’s a clever little move by google rewarding people with three months access to their music store to free film rentals to bigger things like hosting events for people that do really well that you get access to for all the swag and commitment to the google mothership and ecosystem ;)
