Google and Facebook have too much control over information and what people get to see and read. They are serving the masses a regressive narrative and censoring anything that contradicts this. Such is their power over information that it can alter a nation's election result.
This has gone too far. They must be forced to allow the free flow of information which is critical in a functioning democratic society. The issue of censorship and oligopolistic manipulation of public opinion should be one of the top political issues in the United States. If hundreds of thousands of people rise up we can stop this.
Stop using Google and Facebook. DuckDuckGo and SteemIt are not censored.

That is not enough. These giants form an oligopoly that is a threat to democracy.

No need to use force. Simply remove the legal protections that are designed to keep them in power and they will falter. The same goes for every other centralized industry. It is no coincidence that less regulated industries are more competitive while highly regulated industries are the less competitive.
