HTC Powered by Google

Over the time Google has made numerous acquisitions but this deal seems to be different. After HTC went through some rough years, Google has bought part of HTC for 1.1 million.

In the Long run this deal seems to be a fair deal for both HTC and Google. Google acquired HTC RND and some IP portfolio nevertheless the manufacturing equipment and materials are not acquired by them. Nonetheless HTC get enough money for marketing and to stay afloat for longer years.

As the result of the deal Google now owns the division responsible for pixel devices. In the future Google could produce more devices and and maybe their goal of more of their own SoC. Meaning more control over the hardware of Google devices.

From our prospective seems to be a smart deal for both the companies.
