2016's first generation Pixel phones and last year's Pixel 2 models were quite popular in Tech world for their fast and smooth software experience, top-notch hardware and an outstanding camera performance. With all these, Google managed to hold it's crown in the smartphone industry. With all these great features, the Pixel phones always had another thing, which is a high price tag. Google's pixel phones are priced as much as the flagship smartphones from Apple or Samsung or other major smartphone manufacturers. These Pixel phones cost almost like 800$ to 900$ off contract which is quite higher than some people can afford.
But Google came up with a good news for the people who really really wanted a Pixel phone but couldn't afford in eventually for its incredibly high price tag. Google is going to release one or two affordable Pixel phones this year. It will probably come with a mid-range processor, nice amount of ram and onboard storage and a mid-range to good enough camera sensor and the same software experience as previous expensive Pixel phones. Hearing the rumors, it is confirmed that this will the best smartphone someone can get under 400$.
Google didn't provide an exact release date for the product or any official pricing either. But as we know so far, this will be an India exclusive smartphone as Google is targeting the Indian market for this product. But as always, this smartphone will soon make it's way up to the US and other Asian and Europian countries for sure.
