How Nigeria has come this far
The country has involved itself in a lot of promotional activities that has successfully led it to attain this height, some of the activities are either been done, ongoing or still about to begin but the effect has brought massive growth to steem and the steemit Blockchain. Nigeria has involved itself in the following projects that has brought it this far.
#project20millionnaija
This is a project by @ejemai from the house of @stach that is taking steemit to the Nigerian youths. The project aims at decentralizing the offline, it has created hubs in some states of Nigeria (port harcourt, Uyo, Ibadan) and out side Nigeria (Philippines). This project has contributed to the growth of steemians around Nigeria.
Meetups
In this year 2018, Nigeria has organized 3 meetup already, all the meetups were very successful, and they all had a good number of people in attendance. The meetups took place in the following cities:

After this meetup, the aadoption of steem and steemit in Nigeria has improved.
Communities
Building ourselves and keeping great relationship with one another has not been left out, Nigerians derive great pleasure empowering ourselves with different communities to keep in touch. These has helped individuals with like-minded ideas add their unique knowledge and insights to the help grow one another on the steemit blockchain.
More projects like Steemit in Nigeria (SIN), Steemcamp and a lot more that had happened in the previous year has contributed massively to the growth of steemit in Nigeria.
That's Great that Nigeria is among the fast growing communities on steemit :) Soon steemit will take over the world :D
