Democrats are fighting for rule of law.

Trump and his allies lost 60 cases in court. Sixty chances to make the case fraud occurred and 60 times they came up short. No amount of podium grandstanding about “dead voters,” “double voters” and “non-citizens” brought any evidence to light.

1,069 insurrectionists have been charged, 594 have plead guilty, 561 have received sentences, 335 are incarcerated for their crimes on Jan 6.

Fox News settled a $787 million lawsuit for lying about the election. It still faces a credible and non-frivolous lawsuit against Smartmatic Voting Systems.

Donald Trump was indicted on criminal charges by a federal grand jury in a case that strikes at the former president’s efforts to remain in the White House after losing the 2020 election and undermine the long-held American tradition of a peaceful transfer of presidential power.

Democrats have been mostly patient waiting years for the slow legal system to work. We didn’t demand the immediacy of a firing squad for traitors, seditionists and insurrectionists, although that second option might have been a more emphatic deterrent.

Republicans, in contrast, organized a violent mob of 10,000 people at the Capitol to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power. They attempted to intimidate lawmakers and election officials in places like Georgia and Wisconsin. They’ve called in death threats to Colorado Supreme Court justices and many more people.

If you try to tell Republicans this factual information, they sneer at you and tell you the courts are rigged. Republicans do not believe in or support the rule of law anymore. They don’t even recognize what those words mean.
