Humans being social animals, they have the need to know what others are doing and thinking. It helps to maintain group cohesion and combats free riders who take but do not give.

What that has to do with your post, I'm not really sure but it came to mind :D

Great song, I do like CCR and the Golliwogs and the Blue Velvets which are all the same band. They had good songs in all their eras.
