----from the article---

  • After months of deliberation, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has decided to no longer seek for the passwords and security settings of Coinbase account holders.

Amendment 4 of the Bill of rights of the US Constitution

Protection from Unreasonable Searches and Seizures
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched and the persons or things to be seized.

_What part of that does the IRS not understand?

Awesome news. Glad they backed off and hopefully they don't ever change their mind.

Dude the IRS is so crooked. Why can't we as citizens just all stand up to them and not pay our taxes. Considering that money is just going to pay the corrupt FDR . WHat will the government do put us all in jail? Well at least we will all have shelter and 3 meals a day once the greedy Fed will cause our economy to crash in the coming months/year

Yay! This is worth celebrating! resteemed quite a relief!

Great news!
