I sort of woke up to reality around 2011-2012. That’s when I stopped blindly subscribing to liberalism and became a libertarian. After watching Ron Paul, I realized just how much of a mess governments make of everything, and it doesn’t matter who you vote for.

I completely agree with you. To me any government should only deal with public health, security, basic education and basic sanitation.
