First off I'd like to say that I'm not above making money where money is available to be made. also I'm a decent fellow who would do good things with the profit.
But come on people if we invest in Ether and Ripple its a sellout in the sence that we are supporting the structure that altcoins were designed to fight. Namely centralized control over our lives and the lives of our children.
