[novel story] the last goodness

He was a robber who had been in prison, then killed someone, and then robbed a bank when he was at a dead end.
It's a small savings office. The robbery was not going well as it had never been before. the two women rebelled desperately. He killed one of them and the other was hijacked into the car. Because someone called the police, the police car was getting closer and closer, he hijacked the woman and drove the car away, hit a lot of people and ran over a lot of stalls.
The 21-year-old girl just went to work. She studied hard for the job. After graduation, she entrusted many people with no money to give gifts. It was her brother who sold blood for her to go to school to give her gifts. Her parents died, only this one brother.
She thought it was really hard for her to encounter such a terrible thing just a few days after she went to work. I'm afraid there's no chance of survival.
Finally he was surrounded by the police, and all the policemen told him to put down his gun and not to hurt the hostages. He shouted crazily: "I have several lives on me. Anyway, it doesn't matter." With that, he cut her neck with a knife.
A drop of blood was oozing from her neck. She burst into tears, knowing that she had met a Desperado and that her chances of survival were slim.
"scared?" The robber asked her.
She shook her head. "I just feel sorry for my brother."
"your brother?" "Yes," she said. "my parents are both dead. My brother raised me. He sold blood for me to go to school and gave gifts for my work. He is 28 years old, but he is not married yet. I think you and my brother are about the same age."
The robber's knife fell on her neck, and he said ruthlessly, "that's unfortunate for you."
The policeman around him continued to talk, but he was indifferent and went on to talk to her about her brother. He had not only a gun but also a detonator that could detonate the car, but he suddenly wanted to talk to someone, because his life experience was equally unfortunate. His parents had divorced early, he also had a sister, and his sister went to college, but he didn't want his sister to know that he was a murderer!
She told him about her childhood, saying that her brother could knit gloves and went to a girl in her 20s to help her after her 13-year-old period. He looked ahead, at the policemen shouting, and then at the girls around him, and he suddenly felt that the world was so beautiful, but it was too late.
He took out his cell phone and handed it to her: "come on, call your brother."
She took it calmly, knowing that this was the last time she spoke to her brother, so she almost smiled and said, "Brother, where are you at home?" You eat first. I'll work overtime at work. I won't go back. "
Such a parting of life and death was unexpectedly so familiar by her, and his sister said the same thing to him. She looked at the man she had hijacked and listened to the conversation between her and her brother. He fell on the steering wheel and cried.
"you go." He said.
She could hardly believe her ears.
"come on, don't make me regret it. Maybe I'll regret it in a minute!"
She got out of the car, took a few steps, and even looked back at him. She never knew that it was her home phone that saved her, the phone that awakened the last goodness in the robber's heart, and the only kindness that saved her life!
As soon as she got to safety, she heard a gunshot, looked back, and saw him lying on the steering wheel.
The robber shot himself.
Many people asked her what she said to make the robbers let her go, and then gave up her only chance of survival. She said calmly, I only said a few words, the last thing I said to my brother was: "Brother, it's getting cold, you put on more clothes."
She did not tell others about the robber's tears, and others did not believe it, but she knew that those tears were tears of human nature and kindness.
