"For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us."
2 Corinthians 1:20 (NKJV)
• MONEY 💰 is a seed, time is also a seed, whatever you do to help others is a seed. However monetary seed is the emphasis in this piece—money answers all things (Ecclesiastes 10:19).
In sowing seed, you must consider the quality of the SEED you are sowing, the LAND you want to sow it, and the TIMING of sowing it. As it is in the physical, so it is in the spiritual.
The LAND is the ministry, or the servant of God you are sowing the seed to.
~ If you sow to a dry land, unfertile land, you may not get the expected harvest.
~ To avoid this, know your family, your prophet, the minister who has the anointing for your blessing; and relate properly with such. The Seed is the substance, money, or material things, that you want to sow; and it must be a quality seed.
Many insult God by sowing a seed that is not of good quality, yet they expect harvest from Him.
“And whoever offers a sacrifice of a peace offering to the LORD, to fulfill his vow, or a freewill offering from the cattle or the sheep, it must be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no defect in it.”
Leviticus 22:21 (NKJV)
“AND WHEN YOU OFFER THE BLIND AS A SACRIFICE, IS IT NOT EVIL? And when you offer the lame and sick, Is it not evil? Offer it then to your governor! Would he be pleased with you? Would he accept you favorably?” Says the LORD of hosts."
Malachi 1:8 (NKJV)
- The TIMING—the time you sow the seed must be as you are instructed by God, you obey Him promptly.
~ You should know that delayed obedience is a disobedience. If God demands a seed, sacrifice, from you, it must be sown without any delay.
~ In agricultural principle, if a seed is not sown at the right time of the year, rainy season, one may not get any harvest. - Some seed are fundamentals: which you do as God commanded in His Word e.g., Tithe, Worship offering, Prophet Offering, Offering to the needy and others.
- You, however, must be sensitive as an individual to know when God is prompting you to sow a special sacrificial seed; either to His Work, the project commanded by Him, His minister, or needy.
- If you failed to sow at the time you supposed to, you may beg at the time of harvest; but that will not be your portion in Jesus' name.
“The lazy man will not PLOW because of WINTER; He will BEG during HARVEST and have NOTHING."
Proverbs 20:4 (NKJV)
“He who OBSERVES the WIND will not SOW, and he who REGARDS the CLOUD ☁️ will not REAP.”
Ecclesiastes 11:4 (NKJV)
(IV) A CONSECRATED Life
- We become righteous, that is, we have right standing with God through Jesus' righteousness.
“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
2 Corinthians 5:21 (NKJV)
- Jesus' righteousness was imputed in us.
“and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith.”
Philippians 3:9 (NKJV)
- Through Jesus' righteousness we have access to God the Father.
- We can come to the throne of grace with boldness.
“For through HIM we both have ACCESS by one Spirit to the FATHER.”
Ephesians 2:18 (NKJV)
“Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus."
Hebrews 10:19 (NKJV)
- However, the fact that we have the right standing with God through Jesus' righteousness does not give us a license to live in sin.
- “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?
- Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?”
Romans 6:1-2 (NKJV)
- Many claim to be born-again, yet they live in sin. They wallow in sin, committing sin without any remorse.
- If we unwillingly committed a sin, we have an Advocate to plead our case—the Lord Jesus Christ.
“My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.”
1 John 2:1 (NKJV)
- However, if we willingly committed a sin, then judgement follows, thus holiness is a must.
26 “For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
- but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.”
Hebrews 10:26,27 (NKJV)
- Therefore, we must live a holy life, a life separated and consecrated to the Lord.
“Pursue PEACE with all people, and HOLINESS, without which no one will see the Lord.”
Hebrews 12:14 (NKJV)
- “Therefore, “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not TOUCH what is UNCLEAN, and I will RECEIVE you.”
18 “I will be a FATHER to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the LORD Almighty.”
2 Corinthians 6:17-18 (NKJV)
• To live a CONSECRATED life:
- You study God's Word to know more about God (Psalm 1:1-3).
- You fellowship with Him in prayer through the leading of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:26,27; 1 Corinthians 14:2).
- You live a fasted life: discipline yourself in eating, talking, and sleeping (2 Corinthians 11:27).
- You carefully select, by the leading of the Holy Spirit, those whom you relate with.
“Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”
James 4:4 (NKJV)
• You are born of God to be an overcomer.
“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”
1 John 5:4 (NKJV)
- You are to rule and dominate in the world 🌍 (Genesis 1:27,28).
- Your victory, greatness and success could be a mirage, if you do not pay attention to the points we have shared in this piece.
• You will not regret at the end of your journey on earth in Jesus' name.
Peace!
