Teacher's Heart during Graduation - A Monolog to be Heard

Our ten months of being with each other comes to an end. Personally speaking, I failed to be the ''father'' I want myself to be with you all. I should have listened to you all more, I should have exerted more effort for y'all to learn --- and there are a lot of SHOULD HAVES that I could have indicated in here, but you know the gist of it.

I struggled on how to cater your emotional needs, as I always believe in the words you all utter. I'm very sorry if I fall short on that department. That's one of the main reasons why I usually conduct "junkie food trips" with you all, to compensate my guilt of not being able to support you all emotionally.

Today's graduation ceremony left me teary-eyed. I am beyond blessed to have you all under my tutelage. I might not have gangs in this school, but GOD gave me awesome "syndicates" who know how to strive hard, pray harder and thank everyone who helped them the hardest.

Guys, you all will ALWAYS be included in my prayers. Before I end this letter, I'd like you to remember this quote from one of my favorite movies, Akeelah and the Bee:

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same."

Never forget that NO ONE can create your dreams into reality except YOU.
