Advanced toilette graffiti - Chetumal

The Belizean Mennonites are well respected, they work hard, out in the sun all day long, no offense, but not many white people do that in tropical conditions... So the other tribes and groups that make up Belize respect them, and yes they do hold a kind of monopoly on the sales of automotive parts and such, but I only ever seen them take the normal buses, to sell fresh produce in the various markets, no fancy cars or anything.

very interesting sir friendly-fenix...well the ones I grew up alongside in Kansas were state-of-the art farmers with the best, latest equipment and technology, best vehicles, irrigation systems etc so that's what I was basing my assumptions on but I know different groups vary a little in their beliefs.

I heard that the more ortodox Mennonites prefer Mexico, Belize and such, something to do with being pacifists AKA not wanting to be drafted or imprisoned for refusing war because of their commitment to pacifism... Not sure how low/high-tech they actually are, I just know that some of them sell motor parts like spark-plugs and such in Belize. Interesting, topic about an interesting group of people for sure.

Well in the United States they don't have to worry about serving in the military because they are exempt due to their religion. Very interesting that they would be more orthodox than the ones here, or at least some of the ones here. I know they broke from the Amish because they use technology, or at least the ones in Kansas did, that's why they were such big farm operations while the Amish have to stay fairly small as far as the individual farms of course.
Very interesting sir, you always have great information. Steemit is perfect for you!

Yeah @janton, its fun to talk to you about things you are very knowledgable, there are several Mennonite groups in Belize some more "old-school" then others. I would recommend you to go to visit Belize, you can fly to Cancun for fairly cheap, then take a cheap local bus to Chetumal from Cancun and from there you can go by sea/take a boat to the cays/islands of Belize like San Pedro or Cay Caulkers, (that way you don't have to go through Belize City)...

And you can have a very exotic tropical island experience on a fairly slim budget, especially if you sleep in a hammock...
