Perfecting grammar.

Grammar is the thing that makes people understand you, and as such is pretty important for a steemit post. If your post doesn't make sense, how can you expect anyone else to upvote it?

There are ways you can make sure your grammar is perfect:

  1. Grammarly. Download it of the chrome web store (or at grammarly.com). It checks your grammar for you, and will ensure that your post is grammatically correct. Remember to check that your post still gets the meaning across after checking.
  2. Textbook. I'm sure you can get one of the Pirate Bay (pirateproxy.sh), and after much laborious checking your grammar should be fine – it's like grammarly, but slow. Disclaimer: I do not support piracy. It is illegal and you could get into a lot of trouble if you do it.

Edit to add: I agree!

I am generally amused when someone is trying to convince their audience that they are knowledgeable on some subject but can't be bothered to adhere to at least some basic grammar rules. Verbs are rather handy--your sentences should have one.

Remember, commas can save your grandmother's life!

This post was too aggressive, and misunderstood the commenter. As such it has been removed.

Whoa, whoa! I wasn't criticizing your post at all. I was agreeing with you, that meaningful posts (and points) have more impact when they're grammatically sound. Sorry if I didn't make that clear. I'll edit it.

Sorry about the excess aggression.

No worries, it happens. Followed, by the way ;)
