Climate Events Across the Planet

Ryan Maue alerted us again, 10 to 20 degrees Fahrenheit below normal temperatures in the Middle East, record rains, grasses and locusts seem to be the the name of the game in so many places.

Here we are, winter rain bringing rare April bloom to Mount Tabor. This is usually a dry space but look at it now. It is blooming during this abnormal time of the year, with exceptional amounts of grass and flowers.

This is this area that is usually dry and is sandwiched in that cluster of Israel, West Bank and Jordan, as shown on the map below.

Headlines in Lebanon, record snow and hail damaged crops and ice blocked roads. Who would have imagined something like this when it is almost May?

In Algeria, record grain production is expected due to the amount of increased rain in Northern Africa. Sahel as well, is starting to green, but there are a lot of locusts swarm this year because of massive seas of grasses in the deserts.

Look at the farming practices here, as well as what the fields look like. They are ready to harvest and with this type of rainfall, you are definitely looking at something greater and a more powerful cycle than 400-year cyclicity. This cycle is probably something around a 2,000-year or 3,600-year range, for these deserts to bloom again.

Caribou sets a new record streak for the most consecutive days with snow on the ground. Western Australia had its first April snow in 49 years, smashing all the cold records and snow depths for this early in the season.

This Caribou event is like what we saw in Marquette, Michigan. The amount of days with under 60 degrees Fahrenheit in Marquette, Michigan is pushing 199 days as of the last counting. Whereas Caribou has a new record for the most days of snow on the ground. Who would have thought that in the warmest year ever, they would have this much snow on the ground?

This image below was sent by one of my subscribers. This is in Maine during the middle of winter. Check out those snow depths. It is unbelievable.

This is another image of what it is like. Look how deep that is, then imagine shoveling that before you trudge off to your office job.

Speaking of transportation, I got a few messages about the unusual semi-tractor-trailer traffic up in Texas, from the Mexican border all the way to Kansas, and along that corridor there.

If anybody else is seeing the same, please send a note in. This seems to be centered around I-35. I am interested to hear if you are noticing more trucks, different colorations or different markings, or anything unusual, about the tractor-trailer traffic.

I want to leave you with a little bit of good humor. With the massive hailstones coming down across Texas, take a look at how they are trying to protect their vehicles.

This one here is a little more high-tech with the pool mats. So now, at least you can see in a pinch that you can protect your solar panels, as well as your windows by using inflatable rafts. I wonder when these are going to sell out in the stores as people start to protect their belongings from hail damage. The supply chain will be overstrained for those types of products.

While there is record grain production in Algeria, the rest of the world is coming into exceedingly low production. This is just one area on the planet that is actually increasing in yields, Northern Africa, but other places in North America, Canada, Australia, and Russia are down. How prepared are you with your emergency food supplies?
