In essence, Zeal & The United is a geopolitical, superhero drama in the vein of recent comics and films such as The Avengers, X-Men and World War Z. As a former political organizer, Zeal & The United feels quite appropriate for working major metropolitan area millenial, keeping their eyes on news even through the rigors of the work day, but somehow feel as if it's all not real. That the world we live in is a fake; a phony; a fraud! Society is constantly seeing the lines between fantasy and reality blurred by the Mainstream Media with rumors of wars, terrorism, diseases, and the rise and fall of world governments everywhere. Like false prophets, the MSM feed people with their lies stating there is no hope in sight. We always hear about the villains and terrorists of the world, but never about the heroes. But there is hope and there are heroes. Zeal & The United is such an important story for today’s generation because it reminds us that heroes do exist, not wielding heavy hammers and starry shields, but those who look just like us in our ever-growing diverse world. Zeal is such an important story that needs to be told because not only does it serve as a reminder of heroes and hope, but it also breaks stereotypes. It breaks the boundaries of religion, politics, minority, majority, privilege, or what lives matter and all the BS in between! It showcases that through the content of one person's character, that ANYONE can be a superhero! It showcases that there are good African American people out there! There are good Police Officers there! There are good Arab people out there! There are good Gay people out there and they do good, humanitarian things every day without ANY "agenda"!
