Hey guys. So I bought this graphic tablet last friday and was so excited to use it for the first time.
I've been earning from editing photos using Adobe Photoshop but I only use my mouse for doing the dirty works.
Since I wanted to expand my graphic designing experience with Adobe Illustrator, I figured this is finally the time I buy a graphic tablet because let's face it, designing is entirely different from just editing photos which is why, "BEHOLD!!", the great and mighty "One by Wacom"....for beginners like me. Yep.
Before.
I use Adobe Photoshop for designing but the file is always huge when working with pixels and not to mention, my designs would always end up blurry or I should say, pixelated.
As you can see from the photo above that the file size of my design using Adobe Photoshop is 431MB which is pretty horrifying.
I decided to change that. I downloaded and installed Adobe Illustrator on my laptap and studied its user interface only to find out that designing with Adobe Illustrator is much better in terms of file size and quality. The only problem is, I haven't mastered Illustrator yet.
From the photo above, the file size when working with Adobe Illustrator is only, 245KB which is pretty convinient.
After.
I still haven't mastered Adobe Illustrator. LOL. See the thing is, while I'm on the process learning this particular design software, I've also managed to finish some simple designs from Adobe Illustrator.
Yesterday, when I finally finished setting up my new One by Wacom Graphic Tablet, I started doing some of my sketched doodles on it which took me about 30 minutes to finish and by the way, it would usually take an hour or more when using only a wireless mouse.
Conclusion.
Adobe Photoshop would only work for me when I'm manipulating photos.
Adobe Illustrator uses vector which I find so convenient when designing graphics or tracing sketches.
Using a mouse is not advisable when your on graphic designing. Buying a graphic tablet on the other hand is better.
Cheers!
