Hello friends and a warm welcome to my article in this great SEC: S20/W2 I would be participating immediately and may the best contestant win the challenge.

Discuss Color Theory according to the way you understand it.

Color Theory is indeed the deep analysis into colors and its forms, presentation, mixture abd patent results in our art work. It tells us the appropriate mixture we can apply to give a special silhouette and deserved output in our design.

Colors are part of the painters work, imagine there were no colors there would definitely be no art galleries, no funds would be raised for these galleries. Imagine the beauty of art seen in the great Monalisa it would only be a blend of colors that can give such piece of art a great view. Leonardo Da'Vinci was also known for his art through colors. I must say it's crucial in the world of art.

Choose "two" from the color scheme discussed, briefly talk about it and demonstrate with two examples each showing how to combine colors using the scheme

Analogue Colors: These are colors which are seen together beside each other, thy are designed and arranged on the color wheel in such a way that the primary, secondary and tertiary colors are arranged respectively beside each other. They perfectly blend in as they lie adjacently to each other on the color wheel.

Complementary Colors: These are colors arranged distant from each other, they are seen diagonally, opposite to each other. These colors basically to for an entirely new color.

Demonstrate how to get your color Hex from external objects using your canva design app

Step 1: After opening the canva app, I sought for the perfect background. I sought for the gallery icon and clicked in

Step 2: When I clicked on the gallery it took me to my images and chose one amongst the pictures and added it to the page as we all can see from the images respectively representing step 1 and 2

Step 3: It took me back to the canva interface where I was editing the image and it was a beauty

Step 4: I chose the color icon and immediately selected the hue I wanted for design because it seems to be my favorite color.

Finally demonstrate how to get the colors behind the hex codes below #f3ca20, #000000, #ef7d10f

Step 1: To demonstrate how to get these I opened my canva app and clicked on colors

Step 2: A hex code was on the background and I immediately put in the required code as in the above #00000 #f3ca20 #ef9d0f

¡Holaaa amigo!🤗

Im indeed really glad my highly esteemed friend that you stopped by my article, sharing such great words here. I appreciate your support and motivation my dear friend. Cheers to you on your writing adventure.

Hello @daprado1999 thank you for participating in this week's lesson. We have assessed your entry and we present the result of our assessment below.

Feedback:

• You have clearly defined Colour theory the way you best understand it and I appreciate the effort you put into it.

• Your selection on colour scheme. Good to see that you clearly demonstrated how much you understand the use of those scheme by combining your colours appropriately...which is quite commendable.

• Finally, Your practical looks really nice but lack so much detail, it seems to me like you hastily worked on it because you didn't follow the steps in the lecture. All the same, I commend your effort. I hope you take your time to check through the task in subsequent lessons. Weldone.
