Let me start by commending you for a job weldone, the effort put i to this work is quite commendable.
• Task 1: You have clearly discussed the concept of logo the way you understand...with many relevant facts.
• Task 2: You have also clearly discussed the roles it plays in branding. Weldone.
• Task 3: Your explanation here is quite extensive especially in the aspect of the visuals. You gave enough visual representation of the do's and don't which is quite commendable.
• Task 4: Your design is not bad, which would you have gone for betwen both logo? In logo 1, I think the icon is way too big, it seems to have taken almost the whole workspace and it also impacted on the types face as well. Don't forget one of the rules says you should allow your Logo breath. Moreso, you didn't show us how you made your logo using the designated app for this course.
