Today's cryptocurrency market is a rerun of unusual periods in economic history such as the California gold rush from 1848 to 1855. Today's mining occurs in the digital realm rather than in the mountains and hills. Wave after wave of new millionaires, some as young as 14 years old, are being coined on a daily basis with more to come. Some people who mined thousands of bitcoins threw their computers away before the price ran up are out millions. While many altcoin owners with thousands of coins are trying to figure out if or when to get out of the market.

All Altcoin Value Begins with Mining

Cryptocurrency mining in the altcoins market requires a lot of GPU power, cheap electricity and air conditioning. Costs of cryptomining for bitcoin, ethereum, zcash, monero, dash and other cryptocurrencies can be expensive and resource intensive. AMD and Nvidia graphics cards provide great mining choices because their GPU architecture is better suited to cryptocurrency mining.

Of course your personal budget will dictate which graphics cards you can afford. But the qualities to look for include affordability, power and low-price consumption. As one might expect, the best place to look for the best graphics cards is in the PC gaming markets where the best graphics cards have evolved and developed over the past several decades.

Thank you very much for your advice, I mine a little at this time but unfortunately I have only 750ti. As much to say that I do not win much.

For the anecdote I had mined more than 100 bitcoin 7 years ago. I resold them for $ 8 lol

I will follow you because the mining of crypo excites me and you are good advice

While mining is still profitable with GPUs, newbies should do their research before investing in mining. With difficulty skyrocketing, you will likely need to put down $1,000s to make roi/profit. If the end goal is to make money - One may be better off with buying promising alts and converting to BTC when they rise in value
