More grasses and some pods

This is actually a little sedge, called Cyperus rupestris and although sedges are mostly found in swampier ground, these grow all over the hill in places where there are rock sheets and water collects when it rains.

Autumn is setting in and the grasses and summer-flowering plants are starting to set seeds

Although these look like they could be the seeds of the grass above, they aren't, this is called Eragrostis racemosa or narrow-heart love grass.

These are Indigofera seed pods, the pods are quite round for a plant that belongs to the pea family. They remind me of little worm cocoons

In our meadows, and especially near the rivers, many sedges grow. I remember in childhood that we hurt her legs on her hard leaves when running barefoot through a meadow.

Those must be very hard, then
