I am a huge believer in gratitude, and I strongly believe that while it attracts you money, I personally believe that gratitude itself should replace money. While some people are rich and others are poor, there is one thing that can change this imbalance.
What I do in my community is, I write individual pieces of paper saying "Thank You" on them, and so do other people. Then we use Thank You notes to exchange for other goods instead of US Dollars or Bitcoin. This introduces people to the concept of gratitude being a currency as well as a commodity. You can exchange gratitude for food, groceries, clothing, music, video games, school supplies...and even that fancy iPhone you always wanted.
For example, instead of paying $1,000 for a MacBook Pro, I would write "Thank You" on 1,000 separate pieces of paper, then give it to Apple in exchange for a MacBook pro. This quantity of Thank You notes represents the level of thanks you give to another person or company, as you really mean the gratitude.
