Gratitude Day Challenge ; Day Number Fourteen

Gratitude Day #14

Hello Steemfam. It's my second post for the GratitudeDay challenge which I believe it's in its 14th day. Oh well, seems like I am pretty far behind but it's better late than never.

What I'm Grateful for Today

Today, I am grateful for something quite different and pretty funny and that's about my hair, yes my natural hair. It may surprise you to know that I have been keeping my hair way back since 2000 when I just started senior secondary but it never grew well. I remember back then I had some of my friends who pleaded that I cut it off because it wasn't growing at all but I hoped and believed that some day it would.

And here I am today, It has really improved in length and texture ever since I decided to stop perming it just last year and allow it grow in its kinky nature. It has paid off. Soon will be able pack it nicely like @cwen's and @mutitum. BTW, thanks girls for your hair advice. Yeah, I am grateful for my hair.

What Do I Understand Gratitude To Mean?

Gratitude is a state where one shows the readiness to be thankful or grateful or show appreciation for all of life's givings. For me, it's a lifestyle because, without being grateful, one isn't sure of even living to see the next moment. I wouldn't agree less with my Pastor Rev @NiyiEboda who always says that to be ungrateful, such a person is a great fool and I don't want to be a fool. Being thankful opens more doors for anyone, and places one on the path for greater opportunities. A man that is always thankful is a man that has put away pride.

There are so many things to be grateful for. Things that are like your life's constants which are always present everyday. There are yet things or people that we come across once in awhile who leave us blessed. Let me just list out the constants in my life that I am truly grateful for, afterwards, every other post on gratitude will be happenings in my daily life that I will be thanking God for.

Things I Can't Stop Being Grateful for (THE CONSTANTS)

• My life is a testimony that truly God exists and His Love is the greatest of all. Grateful for where I am coming from, where I, in every area of my life at the moment and where God is taking me to which I know is greater than what I have ever seen or experienced.

• My Husband @restandreign. A man that I am truly grateful to God for every single day of my life, for giving me one who's heart beats with that of Christ. For his faithfulness and Love, selflessness and integrity, resilience and positivity.

• For my Family, first for @lil-lovejunkie who is a gift form God to us both and an assurance that more kids no matter how many we decide on will surely come and all that they would need for the best upbringing. My siblings, parents and husband's extended family.

• For Relationships; Relationships are the currencies of life. I am grateful for the people I have as friends here on Steemit(and offline). I have met awesome people all over the world that I never would have but Steemit has given me the opportunity to and I am grateful. I would have loved to mention names but the list is endless.

• For Steemit. Who would have ever thought that one's blogging activities on a social media could fetch them some money. I am so thankful that I discovered Steemit when I did for it has been a blessing. I am hoping to start making quite much as I see around but still grateful for the little I have been getting over time and trusting God it will increase tremendously soonest.

• The Love of God. Without this I probably won't be existing and the aforementioned five won't even be. I am who God says I am.

I know I just opened up more great things to come my way even with this and I won't hesitate to keep you all posted on them all as I expect great things to happen to me and family during the course of the remaining part of this year . It's just got sweeter.
