Gratitude Day 12 of 62: Grateful for a Man of Honour

in gratitudeday12 •  7 years ago

When i see people complain about their churches or perhaps they do not seem to be getting alot out of the church they attend but yet still remain there i just wonder if they know tat destiny is not emotional and things such as spiritual root and growth should not be toiled with.

Rev. Gbeminiyi Eboda.
I am too grateful to have met this man. I cannot forget the silent prayer i made the first time i attended HARVEST HOUSE CHRISTIAN CENTER, IBADAN in 2010 while serving (NYSC) "That getting a job in Ibadan is not a bad idea so i can sit under this man". God answered that prayer and i am so grateful.
He is not just a pastor, he preaches a balanced message, sensitive enough to know not everyone is in same spiritual level and ensures everyone gets fed to the best of his ability as the spirit leads.

I am most grateful that he is not a man who thinks he knows it all. He goes all out to ensure that he brings resourceful and seasoned servants of God to nourish every aspect of our lives.

Such servants are those such as Pst Ibukun Awosika, that we have enjoyed her presence since yesterday uptill this morning. It was an awesome time in Gods presence today i muat confess. She is the Chairman of First Bank of Nigeria. Rich, but carries God in all humility representing the Kingdom of God. This woman inspires and gives people like us hope that, one can do business with all integrity and serve God faithfully.

I can go on and on, but i cannot express how grateful i am to serve under Pst Gbeminiyi Eboda. Oh! I am grateful that i am learning so much from even his unsaid words. His life is indeed worthy of emulation.

What is Gratitudeday?

Gratitudeday is all about being thankful for the things that are happening in your life. Birthed by @tojukaka. According to him: "A lot of us go through life taking things for granted. The goal is to challenge you to make a blog post about something you are grateful for. It could be big or small. It doesn't matter. Little things matter. I'll be doing this for 62 days (62 is not a random number). It's not an endurance game, you can join in anytime you want and opt out anytime you want."

I love my Rev. I was so overwhelmed when I spoke with him after church. I was just staring at him. He's loaded spiritually and physically. I enjoy all his preachings and see no fault in him. If he says something I don't understand, I pay more attention to hear what he meant. I would miss him greatly when i leave Ibadan.

You can say That again. He is just an instrument in Gods kingdom. A force to be reckoned with. Ehya. R u leaving Ibadan soon. Don't worry, most of us will leave ibadan but sure for good, because we have so much loaded in us to deliver to our world. Thanks @loladelolz

Yes. I'm leaving for Nysc service. I'd be streaming his messages online if I'm chanced. That's the only solution.
