Children are gift from God and when we nurture them well, we are building bridges for a better future in our nation.
Childhood is a period of dependency, a time when we are fully entrusted with young lives to mould into contributions to society.

In my church today, we also addressed childrens day and how we supposed to take care of our children so that they can be useful for us and society in the future.
Children are like seeds, what you sow is what you reap when the time comes.
Those who are found in the high places today,or people surrounding us in our society. If we look into their behavior and attitude is as a result of the upbringing they received from their different families.
I'm very grateful for my childhood life and those I spent it with. The education I have received, the trainings and all what I have learnt from my childhood stage that makes me who I am today.
At this stage, the children really needs the support of their parents. It may be in terms of financial support or moral support. If we fail to give them that support they needed at that point in time, it may have a serious damage to their future.
Today, I'm very grateful for the support I received from my parents, though they didn't have much to give in terms of financial support, and not because they didn't want to, but because of their financial situation.
And I knew they do their utmost best to give me moral support. I will do my best for my children too.
The Bible verses we taught about(luke 10 vs 33-34) during the service today talk about the story of a good Samaritan. I believe we all know the story.
To some people, they don't care about what happens to another person as long as they are fine. And likewise there are some people who can do anything to support people that need help.
It's as a result of the environment and family we brought up in, it really important to give our children a good moral lesson, so they can be useful to the society and most of all, give us rest when we get old.
The Bible says "teach your children the Gods way and they shall give you peace "
