My favorite definition of democracy according to my liking is the government of the people, by the people and for the people. A government which thinks about you before making plans and plans when thinking about you.

Nigeria is celebrating it's democracy day and although it might seem like the we are not practicing a democracy in actuality, for the fact that we practise it in theory, it is sonething to be grateful for.

The very first statement I ever made concerning our democracy day was God bless Nigeria!
God bless our country and it's beautiful amd hardworking people who believe we will one day enjoy true democracy.

Is the situation that hopeless? No it's not. We can arise and decide that enough is enough at anytime and reclaim the beautiful dividends of democracy we are being denied of. Had it been it was the kind of system where one man could become the executive, legislature and judiciary, then we qould have been in deep trouble. But now, we have a say.

God bless Nigeria!

Happy democracy to all Nigerians. Though the economy and the political leaders might be discouraging. Celebrating democracy day is something that is worth it.

God bless Nigeria
If someone says there's nothing to celebrate...i disagree!
I'm celebrating us...We are the light and we would make a difference.
We are making a difference

Looking forward to S.I.N 2

Is Nigeria worth of celebrating democracy for?

Yes

Happy democracy to all Nigerians. I believe in a new Nigeria. God bless Nigeria abundantly and may He rescue it from all the senseless, prejudiced and selfish leaders we have in every position.

The government of the people, by the people and for the people.

Our great nation is celebrating 9years of uninterrupted democratic process and i believe that there a way forward in all that has transpired this few years.

With the process and system that we are building this nation must be great again.

God bless our country and it's beautiful and hardworking people who believe we will one day enjoy true democracy.

Finally, God bless Nigeria (Naija for real)

I am me @brightfame

Our democracy is a joke in Nigeria.

It is still better than being under military rule.

What do you call a government that prosecutes individuals that constructively criticisizes it? A government that infringes on the fundamental human rights of its citizens and uses fear, oppression, coercion and propaganda as its weapons? If anything, we're in a government that's worst than anything Military can offer dear. At least with the military Government, you can easily be usurped when you fuck up.

We might not be contented with the present situation in Nigeria, but i believe that nothing is impossible if the youths realise their place in this country and take a stand we can move this country to greater heights.

Only if we youths would look to ourselves and stand up to achieving all we can and were meant to do,we would change this country's outlook. Like a former American president once said, "Ask not what your country can do for you,but what you can do for your country".
God bless Nigeria.
