This post was inspired by my very good friend @joshuaetim when he was thankful that he had water to cook... Lol, which got me amused.
During my National Youth Service which was in Ebonyi State many years ago, the fight was always for water.
I remember getting so vexed to almost crying 😢 because a fellow corper stole my keg of water. 💧
It was so painful that I almost cried because getting water was so difficult there.
Have you ever had to hide water?
Well, I did.... 😂
I remember walking 🚶 miles just to get water and having to hide it so no one steals it.
I remember not going to my Place of Primary Assignment for lack of water to bath.
I remember taking my bath with pure water in a bid to hurry out for clearance since having to fetch the water would mean joining a long queue of waiters who also wanted to fetch water.
It was hectic.
I completed my Youth Service and returned home and since then, I have never had to struggle for water.
Today, being the 34th Day of @tojukaka's gratitude day challenge, I choose to be grateful for water.
Water is life.

Water a necessity. I remember when we would go to Ethiope river to fetch water in school just to cook, wash and have our bath. Abk was not easy then.
