Greetings dear steemians friends

My thanks today, to share with all of you, has to do with a news that has caused me great joy.

Yesterday I read in the press, that 200 political prisoners have been released, and although most of Venezuelans consider that they were people unjustly imprisoned and that they should never have been treated the way they were treated, just because they have differences policies with the Venezuelan government, we are glad that one way or another, today they are in their respective homes.

My heart breaks only to imagine that meeting between those people and their loved ones and I thank God for allowing this moment to come. There comes to my mind the image of some young people who were just out of their teens and who expressed their discontent over the political, social and economic situation of the country were brutally repressed and thrown into jail with common prisoners, but today they are free men. I thank God because he cared for their lives and I pray that he heal his physical, emotional and spiritual wounds.

Thank you Lord for Venezuela, because I know that you have control over what happens here. Thank you for the hope we have in you, and in the freedom that only you, Oh God, can give us. It is not the freedom that man gives, much less this government, but the freedom that you give us through the knowledge of your word, of the love and mercy that you have for this people and that I believe in the depth of my heart that soon the the world will see what you will do in my nation. Thank you for the trials, for the oppression and for the injustice because it shows us the reality of the world that does not know you and strengthens the soul and spirit of those who believe and trust in you. Thank you because your hand is still spread over Venezuela and your grace abounds in the midst of injustice.
