GRATITUDE DAY WITH @TOJUKAKA: I'M GRATEFUL FOR SELF-LOVE

When you talk about Self-love to some group of people, they wonder how one can actually love themselves all by their selves. But believe me it works like crazy! Loving yourself shouldn't look like a herculean task but should come from within.

Although, it's not like when you love yourself, there is a special prize or a standing ovation kept aside for you, the truth is that joy, happiness, peace and other things shall be added unto you.

Today, I'm grateful for finding love in myself knowing fully well that if I don't love myself, nobody will love me. It takes one finding love in him/herself for someone else to love him/her back.

Before, I was really hard on myself, doing everything possible to meet a target within a certain time frame. Today, I can stand firm and say I've given myself so much love because I deserved it.

I want to help someone today on how he/she can start loving him/herself following my foot steps.

• Look at yourself in the mirror and call yourself sweet names, tell yourself all the sweet things you desire. Now someone, somewhere will think I'm crazy. Hahaha!

• Do what you love doing. Don't let people or the society make you stay or do things because it's the way it has always been. Just do what makes you happy.

• You can allow whatever that is in your mind to flow through the pen/pencil in your hand. Connect with yourself, so that your true inner self, thoughts and feelings will be shown.

• Do those things that makes you happy. If you like ice cream; go grab a bucket of frozen ice cream making sure you derive your maximum happiness from it.

• Sometimes, spare yourself the time to go appreciate nature if you feel you love nature. Sometimes I walk to the balcony just to stare at those birds chirping, I love those creatures.
