Where is this island? I ask, because I often am in Greece. It looks like a fortress? Is this Venetian or of new Greek origin?

It is a really small island north-eastern of Crete. Originally it wasn't an island though but part of Creta island. Yes there is still an venetian fortress there!

It is also called Lepers Island! Lepers from Crete and the rest of Greece were quarantined there until 1957 :(
