Green Beans (Phaseolus radiatus L.) is a leguminous plant that has an erect or semitegak stem with an altitude between 30 cm - 110 cm. Stems are green, brown, or purplish; round and hairy. On the main trunk, grow branches sideways.
Leaves of green beans plants include trifoliate (in one stalk there are 3 pieces of leaves), located side by side, oval-shaped, light green to dark green. Green bean flowers include perfect flower (hermaphrodite), can be self-pollinated, butterfly-shaped, and yellow. The pod is cylindrical in length ranging from 6 cm - 15 cm. Young pods are green and after dark or brown. In one pod there are 5-16 seeds. Seeds are generally dull green or shiny green, but the yellow, brown, and black. Green bean plants have root and nodule roots (nodula) roots. Nodules are a nitrogen-binding site.
