Why bamboo?

Let me share some information why we choose to start selling bamboo product in europe.

Bamboo is a versatile exotic natural material used for thousands of years, which in recent years has become a world trend (not only) in garden architecture but also because of its excellent properties and beauty is gaining more and more fans here in europe. Bamboo fits every garden, balcony, terrace and interior. In combination with wood, its natural character stands out and fits into the urban and rustic environment. The range of décor from natural light yellow to dark brown-black or strange dark green black spots fits into almost any interior. Bamboo is processed by many mechanical processes - cutting, splitting, layering on various resulting semi-finished veneer, wallpaper, tiles, which are used for the production and decoration of furniture, walls or ceilings.

Bamboo as a renewable ecomaterial of the 3rd millennium because it is the fastest growing plant on Earth. Bamboo sticks can be harvested repeatedly after 4-7 years without damaging the plant and the surrounding area, while trees are cut down at the earliest after 50-70 years. Harvesting a portion of bamboo stalks actually improves the overall condition of the plant. … Due to more efficient metabolism, they consume 35% more carbon dioxide than trees, slowing the uncontrolled growth of greenhouse gases.

It's true that bamboo is a wonderful, sustainable and renewable resource, but not all bamboo products are. It's really important to ASK about the bamboo product's production process. For example, the bamboo ply you sell. What kinds of glues are used and they're made of what? Bamboo fabric is NOT very environmentally either simply due to the massive amounts of water and chemicals used in production. I'd appreciate - and I'm sure others would enjoy - to see you share more about the processes.

Best wishes from Thailand, where bamboo is part of our everyday and grows like a weed.

To be honest i dont know much about the process how they make the bamboo plywood that we sell.
But i will look after it because now i am interested as well.
But i am sure bamboo is much better than ordinary wood because it takes less time to recover. Unlike the trees.
By the way i checked the reviews of our supplier and i am sure we sell a good products. They make the import to europe from China, Indonesia and Columbia. We are just a resellers and we are planing to grow our business so we can sell in Slovakia, Hungary, Czeh republic and maybe more places.
My second home is philippines and there we live also beside of a bamboo forest but there is different. Here most of the bamboo is imported but i saw there are already people planting bamboo also here in central europe and i like it because those trees as i mentioned clean the air better.
Anyway thanks for your comment, i am planing to post more often about bamboo products and our jobs😊
