The chance to develop a slightly higher floor payout for the newbies that participated in the @greetersguild was a tremendous success, I cannot thank everyone enough for the success, there were countless efforts that made it happen, it's wonderful to be a part of such a great team of extraordinary people battling the inertia of the current economic dynamic on steemit, and helping preserve the newer joining members through several channels of support as you will see when you go visit @greetersguild, or visit their discord site as well.

One special shout-out of appreciation in to a user I have never met before. I have never chatted with before on any blog replies. Luckily enough, through a mutual friend @sames, we (@greetersguild) were enabled by @sames to reach out to people he knew, and he knew @cicbar and shot him a message. I just about fell out of my chair when @sames mentioned "yeah, he will help with a donation to the (@greetersguild) program." So what was the donation? He was kind enough to kick the @greetersguild group a donation for this contest of 15 steem! A person I didn't know, no one from the group knew directly, and now after the completion of the contest a few days ago 15 people new to the platform have memberships to @steembasicincome thanks to this fine person, who has donated to many causes in similar fashion as I had later found out.

So what does this mean for the steemit community? How does it help the community? "Well, it sure makes it harder to fail in the beginning days for these newbies."

I had heard of him on here before, but all I knew he was a lot bigger deal on here than, me, then I checked out his stuff and got a good refresher. The guy is a professional basketball coach in Serbia, which happens to be a hot-bed of professional prospects, which is a great place to cut your teeth as a coach, especially if you are from the area. @cicbar doesn't post a lot, with the demands of coaching and any additional "gigs" that can make for a busy day I can only imagine with the demands of professional sports on time and energy. I highly recommend you follow this guy, he follows some pretty cool people here on steemit as well, and is a hearty re-steemer of quality people here on steemit like my pal @sames, @fullcoverbetting, @miloje13, to just name a few authors as well.
