Greetings Everyone!

Once upon a time, there was a little boy whose love for all arts promoted a sense of discovery within. He would often gaze at the stars at night and wonder what was out there and often wake from sleep wondering where the magical and ethereal beauties and nightmares of the Dreamscape originated from...always with a mild sense of curiosity and deep feeling of awe.

The world captivated him like a wonderland of wonders and fantasies turned reality. People would often dream of men soaring through the sky like Superman but he would be more amazed to wonder how tons of steel with spinning blades turned as light as a feather to have left the ground with people in it- Science was real magic to him for we say we understand much but always stand in awe as the chemistry and physics of things occur around us.

He found his outlet when he first picked up a pencil and drew stick men engaged in odd activities and made them wield swords and shields and fought men in suits with crudely drawn bow-ties and Tommy guns while staving off a fire breathing mechanical laser dragon...such was the imagination captured in his soul for the world and its mysteries and discoveries that when he realized his drawings had no life, no way of telling people what they felt, he set out to learn to write and read and soon those pictures held stories, dialogues and life as his mind perceived it before his hands had sloppily created the world his soul could see in the corners of his sitting imagination.

His first story was "Where did Sand come from?" and in it, he folded two A4 sized papers in two to create the pages of his 4 page book and set out to write about how the seas were once much bigger and how the winds, in their jealousy, all decided to blow so hard that most of the water from these sprawling seas were streamed into the air at thrashing speed that they turned dry and the salt and dirt particles from the mountains were all that were left until those very waters turned to the golden ocean of shifting and grainy sand. He did not know it then, but he was half right in his explanation and yet was only seven years old.

Story-telling became his gift and his drawings helped feed the imagery in his visions while his words, carefully honed and experimented upon after decades and countless trials and errors, had given him a way to create worlds and dreams like he never could imagine when he first set out to make worlds at the age of seven. It was with this sense of love for the written and drawn art...that Larz came to be.

Larz was a character, a mirror-image of the boy himself, now turned a man and in Larz grew the confidence, strength and determination to face the world, even if only on paperback.

At 13 years old, he discovered something called Text-Based Roleplay in chatrooms meant for pre-teens and enamored with the crazy storylines that could be had with these "Roleplayers", he went to work on playing his character in real-time chat based Role-plays called "RPs". The activity burned a sense of adventure and problem-solving and powerful mood building in him as he went from simply role-playing in one sentence responses to long paragraphs of superfluous descriptions aimed at describing the flow of movement, time and even dialogue between his character and the others.

He joined tournaments and even further honed his role-playing skills to have him think on the spot as a battle was occurring in the story involving his Larz and the other role-players who were trying to kill his character.

Larz was active for a long time, on and off, he often came in like a stranger from the horizon and equally left with the setting sun after having spent some time in a place and with people.

As Larz grew, so did the Boy.

The boy grew to be a man, having Larz helped him turn his mind into a calculating tool that his experiences in real life were equally becoming similar to that of his own Role-play persona. He would fight on the streets and learned to enjoy the wonderful feeling of solving problems in social life among his friends and himself while honing his skills in the things he loved.
He sang for a heavy metal band in high school and learned Martial Arts from various people until he went to college and furthered his love for the abstract.

As a young man, he helped break ceramic tiles and shape them into works of side walk art and grouted them with a band of sculptures and artists while attending school. He joined the Judo team and eventually became one of their Varsity while picking up Boxing and Aikido on the side for his own personal interest. He had a girlfriend and he explored the many avenues of life from singing, martial arts, writing, travelling and joining contests. Larz, though his construct, became his conduit to face life without fear for Larz was a character who had no fear and in turn, it contagiously blessed the boy with the equal amount of fearlessness that his own creation had.

It has been 17 years now, since I've created Larz and though having been shelved for most of my late 20s, he never left me.

I have gone on to do many things, gotten married after experiencing the cycles of many failed dates and successful relationships and ofcourse that daunting moment when a man puts his knee on the floor for a woman his heart could never live without... but my greatest achievement was my new Martial System, created from my countless years of training in Martial Arts which I called PROMETHEUS- hoping it will bring a new sense of discovery back into Man as much as the stories and Larz had for me...through imagination.

In a way, it was my way of giving Larz to the world beyond the text and the stories...to give them the building blocks of Larz' own warrior life.

Online, my name is Larz and I'm happy to meet you all and since this has been the return of Larz after 6 years of hibernation...I hope I give you all many adventures and stories filled with imagination as I had when I was just 13...or better yet, when I was just 7 as a little boy who wondered what was out there in the stars and where did the beautiful creations of dreams came from.

I'm finally back.

Welcome Larz Graveus Wrath. I look forward to your stories and will be first in the queue to read them, as your introduce yourself post was both enthralling and exquisite.

Thank you for your patronage. Don't worry, I will definitely give everyone things to enjoy and contemplate upon.

Here's something to tease the mind.

In the world of burly men and dainty women, which would be more embarrassing?

Losing to a woman who is three times your size, in mortal combat...or beating her?

You will get to taste a lot of cognitive exercises and mental footnotes as I continue on in my journey here so stay tuned and stay strong!
