Minor? Translation error , that is Major! It looks freakin epic and is a whole new world in comparison ( not knocking the pre-site dev nor site itself ) todays web framework and code new " breakthrough " implementations to the last few generations of converging desktop and mobile together this site is a game changer. The Gridcoin relation with B.O.I.N.C. and having a site that follows to suit the implementations of code that is the same or looks similar to the current roll out solution for the projects we are tied to is really nice. I think that it would be cool to see the WL projects incorporate this Purple Gridcoin theme into the choices as they slowly upgrade to the latest release and enable the feature !

Are we taking feedback for the intro text following "What is gridcoin?"? If so, see what you think of the following version, which incorporates edits for readability as well as a couple of new sentences:
//////
Gridcoin is an open source cryptocurrency (Ticker: GRC) which securely rewards volunteer computing performed upon the BOINC platform [hyperlink: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/].
BOINC is an open source volunteer computing grid which combines the processing power of individual users for the purposes of scientific research. It's free, production ready, and already home to numerous independent projects with such diverse goals as curing cancer/AIDS/Ebola/malaria, mapping the Milky Way galaxy, discovering record prime numbers, and many others. Since its creation in the early 2000s, the BOINC network has maintained an active userbase consisting of hundreds of thousands of participants from around the globe.
Gridcoin was created in part to incentivize and further grow the BOINC userbase by rewarding calculations performed on the network. Anyone in need of a serious amount of distributed computing power can create a BOINC project for free. In turn, the Gridcoin network can potentially reward the project's active userbase to help offset their electricity bills and improve user retention.

stupid question: are all cryptocurrencies decentralized? I took that phrase about decentralization out from the first paragraph.

Thanks for the input, I'll consider improving the intro section with your suggestions in the near future.
Regarding cryptocurrencies being decentralized - not all cryptos are decentralized, many tokens created on top of a cryptocurrency network (such as in bts/ard/nxt/eth) have a centralized issuer.

Awesome, thanks!
And ok, that makes sense. So maybe we need to put back in a phrase specifying the decentralized aspect.

Looking good. Each update is a improvement. I like the cubes behind the logo on the home page and the adjusted color is definitely easier on the eyes - looks nice. The one thing I noticed with the menu updates is since they do not scroll up with the page (top header menu position is fixed) depending on the user's screen the bottom menu items are not accessible.

I would encourage you to look into Gridcoin as well as BOINC!
imo you will find that there can be real benefits to humanity when people participate in BOINC projects and Gridcoin is basically providing extra incentive for participation.

Much better than the previous version. The color of the previous version was terrible in my opinion. I am glad for the update!
