Absolutely. The way i see it, is not only has a future in serving as a reward, but also serving as a currency you could use to buy processing power. As the difficult increases and even ASIC becomes useless, distributed computing comes in place. But to be able to spend GRC, someone will need to produce more GRC. As the demand for GRC increases, so does the price, and more people get's involved, until we achieve exactly what you told. Complicated, huh :)
