Wow, today is very cold! It feels like -20°C right now(well my ears do at least). Wouldn't it be nice to be able to harness the cold winter air, as cooling fot BOINC machines?
All jokes aside, i wouls like to wish steemit a merry christmas, and hope you had a enjoyable time with family. I might share some of my gridcoin stats (although not impressive) and the 3rd machine im adding to my BONIC network. It was nice to see @dutch show some stats on the new www.gridcoin.science url for the offiical Gridcoin site. Its great to see this type of transparency with devlopers, its worth a read if thst type of thing peaks your intrest. I must get back to the gritty transit home on the TTC, and hopfully get home fast so i can eat!

It was +10°C at noon here in Turiec Basin. It usually is deepest winter in between the holidays. The winter went on a break I guess.
I wish you all good in the new year.

I keep most of my equipment in the basement and on cooler days, keep the door to my cellar open. My fan speeds drop off significantly.

who needs liquid cooling, when we have fresh, cold, Canadian air? its nice to utilize the space in the basement like that, and exploit the room temp for efficient computing. i wonder how much that would help with a OC'd CPU, reducing strain on the hardware.
