Gridcoin State of the Network Report #13
April 28th, 2018

Welcome to the 13th Gridcoin State of the Network Report. The SotN Report is a fortnightly report organized by @parejan and @jringo. It compiles useful news and statistics that the community can use as they see fit.

In an attempt to further organize and expand these reports, we have added three sections to Community and News.

News will absorb the Gridcoin in the News section and include critical news that is unrelated to development.

Tutorial and Guides will include detailed tutorials and guides put together by the community.

Cruncher Stats will include posts from crunchers who want to share their BOINC stats and progress.

Just getting to know GRIDCOIN now because of this post. Really intersted in learning more.

@jringo you should probably use those SBDs lying around to promote your posts so that more people like me get exposed to Gridcoin's awesomeness.

I saw you as I was reviewing your blog to be whitelisted in minnowbooster. Have a look at using their platform to boost your post so you get to the trending section, you almost always get back the amount you send plus STEEM POWER you dont really lose anything but gain SP and the well deserved exposure of your hard work and free advertsing of Gridcoin mate! have a go at it once you've been whitelisted.

Upvoting my post for visibiity

It would be interesting to see the maximum, minimum and median superblock time. The mean has less meaning due to the outliers that sometimes happen.
Love these stats though. Keep it up!

Valid comments @zigzagoonballoon. We'll look into this and update the stats accordingly in the next episode.

Interesting to see the difficulty and number of transactions both increasing

Nice! Thanks you for your effort and the update! It will definitely help getting more people involved in gridcoin :)

Another update, not directly directly related to gridcoin but kind of interesting;

Byteball, a new crypto, has just had a bot launched that gives Bytes (byteball's currency) and tokens for people based on work they did for World Community Grid.
Posting the Medium link because they did a better writeup there than I can, definitely check it out!
