New Twitter contributors - community poll launched today!

in gridcoin •  6 years ago

"at first i thought adding more people to the twitter team was a nice idea but now that i think about it, it will actually serve to centralize power around those approved by the poll since they can dismiss everyone elses input on the basis of them not being poll approved. furthermore its inappropriate to use steemit instead of reddit or cryptocurrencytalk for a discussion url, since signing up on steemit requires paying them money."

I don't understand. Could Nethlek elaborate in reddit thread, if he has no account on steem?

That thread was created less than an hour ago

they can dismiss everyone elses input on the basis of them not being poll approved.

If you want to have real input, volunteer for the position & get vote approval.

furthermore its inappropriate to use steemit instead of reddit or cryptocurrencytalk for a discussion url, since signing up on steemit requires paying them money.

You don't need to invest to get an account, fair enough if you want an account today you would need to pay like $5-10 for an account from a 3rd party service, but Steem has been out for coming on 3 years now, take 5 mins to make an account.

Both reddit and cryptocointalk are not free from potential censorship.

Apparently, grc-lib-front speaks for Nethlek too, so you just spammed the same nonsense twice, well done.

check the time, my post was about 3h earlier than his

Did you even bother to check the timestamps?

They should have checked the timestamps before posting duplicate nonsense. Why should I do that for people who cannot even coordinate posting one comment on Steemit? Capable guys, no doubts.
