Thank you for the great updates. I wasn't aware of a new version of the client. I wonder if it would be possible for the client to notify us directly of a new version? That way those users who don't keep up to date with the news can be sure to have the latest version as well.

Paying the developers is a great idea. It motivates continuous quality work, and can help prioritise the project. Volunteer programming is great, but sometimes a core group of paid developers can keep things progressing at a steady rate.
