I care a lot about roleplaying games. They mean an enormous amount to me. They gave me a safe haven, a career, an outlet for my creativity, romance and a whole lot more. I have long believed in the openness and acceptance of the community, have long preached it, and have long fought against the myriad moral panics that have attacked it. I now find myself accused of gatekeeping by people who would - themselves - gatekeep the hobby. Let me explain myself.
