CALLMEKARIZMA: Is This Aspiring Rap Pop Star An Online Predator?

A quick dig through the facebook profile of Morgan Parriot (AKA CallMeKarizma) to see whether the rumours could be true.

I only recently came across this fellow on social media. He is a 24 year old Minnesotan who fancied himself as the next Eminem from his teenage years in high school. He did steadily climb through the social media mire under his stage name CallMeKarizma to build a very dedicated and devoted fanbase of mainly teenage girls. He also was very active on a variety of social media platforms which helped him get into a position where fame was going to be a certain.

He was touring the USA a fair bit starting around 2015 and his successes started to escalate. It is around this time that the reports of pedophilia, sexual abuse and rape started to first emerge. I was curious yet repelled. I had seen such reports of E-celeb heart throbs exploiting their fans and social media fame before in the past. It was troubling but not surprising to see yet another example of someone like Austin Jones running amok on his fan base for his own alleged sexual depravity.

This is all too familiar in the world of #Groomtube, along with the half dozen or so majorly popular social media platforms for children and teenagers. Youtube itself has many examples of such predation with the ones who become #Youtubers / #E-Celebs being in a perfect position to exploit their fanbase. This continues to this day and there are even quite recent examples of #Youtubers been arrested and prosecuted for their criminal behaviour and exploitation of minors online.

I needed to know whether CallMeKarizma was another such #Groomtuber so I started researching across the many social media platforms where there was these claims of online enticement, emotional blackmail and even pedophilia and rape made against him. There was a lot out there, over many different platforms including ones I am not familiar with (instagram, snapchat) which I intend to cover in a follow up article but for now I decided to have a precursory look at the facebook profile in the name of Morgan Parriot

I wanted to see whether I could uncover anything and whether it could corroborate the many claims online from his young female fans that he manipulated & exploited them.
