GROUP HOMES/ CPS EXPOSED: An Insiders Perspective on Child Negligence within Group Homes

Purpose: To expose the negligent practices within child services while increasing the compassion and understanding of children and adolescents in the child welfare system.

Presentation Outline:

•Background info on the status of child welfare

•Experiences working as BHT (job responsibilities, characteristics of clients, diagnoses, and medications)

•Negligent behavior towards children

•Testimonies from children and social workers
