Its a magical place, after all.

What could possibly be more amazing than the simple cultivation
of the soil,
of the seed,
of the plant and its needs.
Especially when it transfers life to me.

Transfers energy to me and my loved ones.
the birds and the bees,
the worms,
and beetles too

Growing a garden I feel whole.
I feel connected and complete.
When I harvest I give thanks.
When I prepare the food I feel happy, proud
and full.

I encourage anyone to try their hand at gardening and preparing food. It is a basic tenet of being human.

We are human beings, it’s time we practice being human.
