First Things First

I'm privileged and honoured to be able to help @gsgaming help create their official logo. A special thanks to the Gamemaster @bambam808 aka Ginger Samurai & @btcvenom aka VP for letting me on this. They're really awesome people and nice at that

Logo Creation

Duration : It took me about 2 hours to create this logo

Motto : Get Set GAME

Part 1

Was trying to find the right fonts to be able suited to the people of this community. Hence, chosen this font bcause it gives a very volatile and active sense. As gamers we hit sharp and passionate about our games.

The 'dots' and alignment was adjusted later when the final logo came about.

Part 2

Created the elements with using only photoshop, had an idea of creating a console controller. An idea of infusing the tag 'GSG' into the whole logo. With simple shapes, I've come out with the trackpad, the buttons and the directional keys.

At this stage, I could envision using the letter 'G' to be made as gamepad holder.

Part 3

At this point, I have made the controller out of the elements I have. The reason I used the 'S' for separating both left and right is to give the meaning that 'gamers need to be coordinated with both sides or u'll break and lose the game' and also to create a sense of opposite sides like in tournaments.

At this stage, I really like how everything was turning out to be. Therefore, I proceeded with colour profiling.

Part 4

Changing of the fonts from the previous, to give it a more modern trendy look. Looks more polished than the previous. Added the colour scheme, red and blue usually defines opposites/good&bad/enemy&allies.

Loving the font, I transferred the colour schemes to the logo.

Part 5 (Finalized)

Putting everything together was perfection. Loved how it turned out. The sense of competitiveness seen from both colour sides and the S that separates the two common coloured teams.

The slogan shouting as a referee 'Get.....Set......GAME'
