Users are able to submit their own project ideas on the platform and receive funding from contributors.
Gitcoin is also known as a quadratic funding system that helps accelerate the development of projects that the community deems best.
Simply put, this platform encourages the development of meaningful open-source projects.
GTCs are ERC-20 (Ethereum blockchain) tokens designed to manage the Gitcoin platform.
GTC is managed by a DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) where users can participate in the management of the platform by using their tokens to propose and vote on various proposals.
With a market capitalization of $216,078,946, the GTC token ranks 291st.
What I like about the Gitcoin platform is that it tries to help and support people in their open-source projects. We've already made some nice profits on the GTC token.
